A Day of Precision, Skill & Firearms Expertise

Each year, our Krav Maga students take part in specialised events designed to deepen their understanding of real-world threats and enhance their capabilities as Kravists. A key aspect of this journey is learning to understand the weapons we may one day be threatened by — their characteristics, sounds, recoil, and overall handling.

This year’s event, A Day of Precision, Skill & Firearms Expertise, was nothing short of phenomenal. With firearms as the central theme, we took our training to the next level at the Rooikraal Shooting Range, where students had the opportunity to train with an exhilarating selection of weapons — including (but not limited to) the Vector LM5, AR-15 Stag, AK-47, TO5, Shotgun, 9mm Pistols, and Taurus Revolver.

Under the expert guidance of Du Toit Lambrechts and his outstanding team at Defensive Training Concepts (DTC), our students benefited from world-class instruction that prioritised safety, precision, and professionalism at every step. Their extensive knowledge and hands-on approach made this experience both educational and inspiring.

For several of our Krav Maga students, this was their very first encounter with live firearms. Yet, thanks to the patient and expert coaching from DTC, every participant achieved success — confidently hitting their targets and walking away with newfound respect for the discipline and focus that firearms handling demands.
