  • Israeli Krav International Master Instructor

  • Israeli Krav International Black Belt 4th Dan

  • Israeli Krav International Full Instructor

  • Basic Emergency First Aid Responder – NQF Level 2

Alan Mann, a retired Special Forces operator, is the first South African instructor certified under Israeli Krav International (IKI). He has completed five Tour and Train programmes in Israel, led by Moshe Katz, Head Instructor of IKI. These tours, known as Moreshet Krav (“Combat Heritage”), form an essential part of Israeli Defence Forces training. They provide historical, cultural, and military insight into the roots of Krav Maga, giving practitioners a deeper understanding of its spirit and application.

Alan has earned the honorary title of Master Instructor through years of dedication, hosting over 15 seminars with Moshe Katz in South Africa and attending more than 30 additional seminars himself. He has trained and mentored numerous black belt students, including:

With extensive exposure to global hand-to-hand combat systems, Alan brings unmatched expertise to his teaching. His mission is to make Krav Maga accessible to all — whether individuals, families, or those with physical limitations — by instilling confidence, resilience, and the ability to defend against real-world threats.
