Our Training Schedule

We have our regular training evenings, Mondays and Wednesdays, from 18h30 to 20h30 in Alberton and Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 17h30 to 19h30 in Sandton and Mondays and Wednesdays, from 17h00 to 19h00 in Groenkloof, Pretoria. Students train either the first training day of the week or the second training day, some Students train on both days of the week, always depending on their work / study schedules.

I also present Anti-Hijacking courses, Various Knife Fighting courses, Stick Fighting courses and (unique) Rifle Disarms courses. The benefit of training in these courses is to increase your understanding of other methodologies and ‘tools’ of combat.

Grading
We grade twice a year depending on the number of Students progressing or wanting to progress on to the next grade level. We have the usual colour belts, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Brown and Black. We do not have intermediary colours / numbers / stripes. Some Students may skip a grade because they were ready for it but circumstances caused them to be absent for that session and between then and the next grading session they had progressed yet further in their training and techniques.

What is the ratio; Men to Women, training?
About 25% of these Students at Alberton and Sandton are Women.

Personal Training
I offer one-on-one training. This ‘Private’ Student makes the fastest progress of all my students as they have my full attention for every training session.

International Seminars
Once a year, in August we receive a visit from Moshe Katz, the Chief Instructor of IKI in Israel. It is at this time we catch up with changes in ‘old’ techniques and are brought up to date with the latest techniques to attacks on members from all over the world.
There are several IKI affiliated Dojos here in Gauteng and Moshe will visit us all.
